Rule Updates for 09-10 Season

• Snell 2005 helmets or newer required
• Jr 14-15 & 16-17 liquid class will now be up to a 600cc limit with a throttle blocker.
• Freestyles will be allowed to change their shocks to whichever brand they chose, but they must use shocks with springs, no Fox float shocks. This applies to both RMR and the National (ISOC) Series.
• We will be running a Semi-Pro open class this season.

Transponders will be used for ALL CLASSES next year with the exception of the 120 classes and the Trail Division. If you are not racing the entire season or do not want the upfront expense of purchasing the transponder ($240) then they will be available for rental for $25 per weekend.

Scoring Procedures for the ISOC/RMR Races

When there is a regional race combined with a national, points will be awarded to each rider based on the following system:

For Heats – Qualifying will be run together and regional riders will be pulled out and scored separately for regional points. If a rider is running for both regional and national points then they will be awarded points for each based on their finishes. Example, a regional rider finishes 4th overall in the heat but is the first rider to cross based on the regional riders in that heat. He/she will be awarded 4th place points for the national and 1st place points for the regional.

For Finals – In all classes, with the exception of Semi Pro and Pro riders, including Pro AM and Pro Women, the top 15 overall will advance to the final. Riders from the regional will be pulled out and scored separately using the format from the heats. Final points for the regional if there are more than 15 riders in a class will be awarded using the motocross system: adding the points from Round 1 and Round 2 and the highest total receives first place points. If there is a tie the tie breaker system will come into effect (round 2 finish, round 1 finish, etc). Regional point system will remain in effect (i.e. 25 points for 1st place in the final and so on).

For Semi Pro and Pro Finals – Separate finals will be run based on regional and national riders. If a rider is running both series for points and makes it to both finals, then he /she must race both. We will do our best to space out the finals and allow adequate time between them.

Important 120cc Rule Updates/Changes for the 2009-2010 Season

1. The ISR rules meeting in Wisconsin this past weekend concurred that the racers beliefs are not accurate and for the novice class the governor must be intact and functional. The stock, improved and champ classes can remove the governor.
2. The novice and stock classes can only change the rear gear, but you still must use the stock sized chain.
3. In the improved class, any gear ratio maybe used and the clutch may be replaced with aftermarket clutch of the same basic centrifugal design. (No variable ratio systems allowed.) Brake band may be changed to fit clutch.
4. If in doubt refer back to the general information, if it doesn't say you can do it then it is ILLEGAL.
5. For improved and champ classes any chain and gear combination can be used.
6. Top 5 sleds for each class will be teched.
7. Remember, the novice and stock classes are supposed to be entry level class so anyone can race.
8. If your child’s sled is disqualified then a fine of $200 will be issued to the parents.
